The Westchester Aircraft Maintenance Association, also known as WAMA, is a professional association that advances the arts and sciences of aircraft maintenance, management, and ground support. Founded in 1960 and based at Westchester County Airport, WAMA membership provides opportunities for ongoing learning and professional networking. The organization promotes the public welfare by educating members and industry about issues concerning aircraft maintenance and management operations. Our mission is to promote increased safety, efficiency and economy in aircraft maintenance work, and to encourage the exchange of information and provide member education through monthly meetings with planned programs. Sponsorship Registration Player registration IN MEMORIAM Gary Treglia Gary Neil Treglia Sr., 79, was born on September 28, 1944 in Mount Vernon, NY and recently passed away on October 26, 2023 in New Paltz, NY. Private services will be held to honor Gary’s life. A celebration of his life, to which all friends and family are warmly invited, will take place after the holiday season. Gary served in both the Army and Air Force. In order to honor his memory, donations can be made to Veterans Associations for the care of mental health. ____________________________________ Richard "Dick" Cosgrove We are saddened to report that Sue and John Cosgrove’s dad, Richard (Dick) Cosgrove has passed away. He will be sorely missed. As founder of Cosgrove Aircraft Services, he was a mentor and friend to many. Dick will be buried at St Charles cemetery in a plot that is along New Highway across from Modern Aviation so he will be able to be near the departing and arriving aircraft that he loved so well. See Obituary page ____________________________________________ Raymond Lee Larkin Raymond "Ray" Lee Larkin, age 68, of Gloucester County, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023. Raymond was born on August 1, 1955 to Lee Roy and Marcella June (Haley) Larkin in Hawaii. Ray was raised in California, Maine, Kansas and Virginia while his father served in the Navy. He served in the United States Airforce with multiple commendations; earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics from the University of St. Louis and had a long and rewarding career in the aviation industry.
